About TuneRadar
Terms of service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms describe your use of TuneRadar, developed and maintained by Vonzen, and its website. Questions and support requests can be sent to vonzenappstudio@gmail.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
1. The service
TuneRadar helps you discover and listen to internet radio, organise stations and access supported song information and listening features. A TuneRadar account is not required. Some Apple services, including purchases, may require an Apple account.
Radio playback needs an internet connection and may use mobile data. You are responsible for your connectivity and any charges from your network provider. Stations, songs and other external resources may be unavailable in some regions or change without notice from TuneRadar.
You must have the legal capacity to accept these terms, or use the service with a parent or guardian’s consent and supervision as required by applicable law. Parents and guardians should assess whether the selected stations are suitable for the child.
2. App licence and responsible use
Your downloaded app is governed by the licence presented through the App Store, including Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement where no custom licence is provided. These service terms supplement that licence and do not replace Apple’s purchase terms or any mandatory consumer rights.
TuneRadar is intended for personal listening on supported devices you own or control, within the applicable app licence. Using the app does not transfer ownership of its code, interface, design or branding. Third-party software remains subject to its own licences.
Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not bypass access restrictions, redistribute broadcasts without permission, interfere with services, introduce harmful code, access systems without authorisation or place excessive automated load on the app or its providers. Do not resell or sublicense the app, remove rights notices or reverse engineer it except as permitted by the applicable licence or law. Add or share custom station addresses only where you have the right to do so; adding an address does not grant permission from its owner.
3. Radio and other external content
TuneRadar is an internet-radio discovery and playback tool. Directory information is supplied by Radio Browser, and playback connects to the selected broadcaster or stream provider. TuneRadar does not produce, host or control these broadcasts.
Radio Browser describes its collected station-directory data as public domain and provides an API for use in other apps. This concerns directory information, such as station names, tags and stream links; it does not place the linked broadcasts, music, logos or other content in the public domain or grant rights to them.
Station names, logos, trademarks, programmes, streams, music, artwork and other content belong to their respective rights holders. A directory listing or display in the app does not imply ownership, endorsement, a partnership or verification of all rights by TuneRadar. Access to a directory or a playable stream is not itself permission to reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit the content. Pro purchases provide app features and do not grant such rights to third-party content.
Stations control their content, availability and broadcast advertising. On iPhone and iPad, free users may also see in-app advertisements provided by Google AdMob; Pro removes these in-app advertisements but does not remove advertisements embedded in a station’s audio. Optional rewarded advertisements provide the benefit shown before you watch them. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising, tracking permission and consent work. Song recognition can be incomplete or incorrect. The app does not provide offline audio recordings or programme replay; song history stores song information.
External providers set their own terms and may change stream addresses, formats, schedules, geographic restrictions or service availability. Links to music apps or station websites do not provide a subscription to those services. You are responsible for any separate account or payment they require.
4. Copyright and other rights concerns
Rights holders and their authorised representatives can send a complaint to vonzenappstudio@gmail.com. In the app, Report Station in the player’s More menu, or in a station’s context menu, opens an email that already identifies the station, its directory identifier and stream address. Please include:
- Your name, contact details and authority to act for the rights holder.
- The work or other rights concerned, and the station name, stream URL or specific material in TuneRadar that identifies the issue.
- An explanation of the alleged infringement, supporting information and the action requested.
- Confirmation that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is unauthorised and that the information supplied is accurate.
We will assess the report, request clarification where needed and take appropriate action within our control. TuneRadar maintains a published station blocklist that the app downloads and applies to directory results, favourites, history and playback. Adding a station or stream host to that list removes it from TuneRadar for all users without waiting for an app update. If you believe an action was mistaken, use the same address to provide supporting information for review. We cannot delete material from an independent provider’s servers; changes to the source directory or broadcast may also require that provider’s involvement. Correspondence is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. This process does not limit any legal remedy available to you.
5. Free features and Pro
TuneRadar includes free listening features and optional Pro features. Current availability and purchase conditions are shown in the app and Apple’s confirmation sheet. Features and allowances may depend on your device, operating system, stream format and external data source. Pro does not guarantee that every station supports recognition or visualisation.
Apple processes purchases. Restore Purchases in the app can check eligible previous purchases using the relevant Apple account. Purchase validity and Pro access may require a network connection.
If you choose an auto-renewing subscription, its term and renewal conditions are those shown by Apple when you confirm. You can manage or cancel it through Apple. Deleting TuneRadar does not cancel a subscription. Refund eligibility and requests are handled through Apple’s refund process, subject to applicable law. A non-renewing purchase does not create an auto-renewing subscription.
6. Devices, alarms and driving
Features differ across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. Companion station synchronisation is supported between an iPhone and its paired Apple Watch; these terms do not promise a shared cloud library across every platform. CarPlay depends on a compatible setup, and driving features do not replace your responsibility to follow traffic rules. Set up listening before driving and use controls only when safe and lawful.
Radio wake-up is a Pro feature on supported iPhones with iOS 26 or later and alarm permission. The system alarm rings first. You must tap Open Station to open TuneRadar and begin station playback; a network connection and available stream are required. The feature does not guarantee unattended radio playback or successful playback in every device state. Do not rely on it as the sole alarm for a safety-critical purpose.
Sleep timers stop app playback according to supported settings. They do not control a broadcaster’s stream or other apps. Operating-system behaviour and external service availability may affect these features.
7. Privacy and service changes
Our Privacy Policy explains local data and the requests needed for radio, song services, purchases and the website.
We may update the app, features and these terms as the service develops. External stations and services may change or stop independently. When terms change, we will publish the revised text and date on this page, with any additional notice required by law. Changes do not override rights attached to an existing purchase or mandatory legal protections.
8. Stopping use and local information
You may stop using TuneRadar at any time. There is no TuneRadar account to close. Uninstalling the app may remove local favourites, custom stations, history and preferences; maintain any device backups you need. Restoring a purchase restores eligible access, not a backup of your station library.
Cancel any recurring subscription separately through Apple. Stopping use or deleting the app does not itself cancel billing or create a refund. Your permission to use the app may end as provided in its applicable licence, including for a material breach. This does not remove statutory consumer rights or obligations that continue under applicable law.
9. Availability, rights and support
We aim to keep TuneRadar useful and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted connections, the accuracy of external content or compatibility with every stream and device. To the extent allowed by applicable law and the app licence, the service is provided as available. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory warranties and consumer remedies.
If a problem arises, contact vonzenappstudio@gmail.com with the device, system version and a description of the issue. For disputes, applicable law determines your rights and available remedies; these terms do not require you to give up mandatory protections in your place of residence.
